If the version of Java that you need to run Pentaho software is not on your system, download it from the Oracle site and install it.

You do not need to uninstall other versions of Java if you already have them running on your system. Make sure that the version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or the Java Development Kit (JDK) that Pentaho needs to run is installed on your system.
